The Growing Minds Series - ages 9-12
Growing Minds Planner | Ages 9β12 π±
Growing Minds is a gentle organisation and wellbeing planner designed for children aged 9β12.
As children become more independent, thereβs more to juggle β school, homework, activities, friendships, responsibilities and all the thoughts and feelings that come with growing up.
Designed for all children, including neurodivergent minds, Growing Minds provides clear structure without pressure, helping children organise their days while beginning to understand what works for their own brain.
Inside, children are gently supported to:
- ποΈ Plan their week, priorities and responsibilities
- β° Structure their day with a clear hourly schedule
- π Keep track of school, homework and activities
- π Check in with their feelings and energy
- π§ Recognise when their brain feels busy, tired, calm or overloaded
- πΏ Discover tools and strategies that help them regulate and reset
- π Reflect on what went well, what was difficult and what helped
- π¨ Draw, doodle, write or create on dedicated Expression Pages
- π Put things on paper that may feel easier to write than say out loud
Thereβs no expectation to use every page or fill every box. Pages can be missed, plans can change and children can use the planner in the way that works for them.
The aim is to gently build independence, confidence, emotional awareness and organisation skills they can carry with them as they grow.
Gentle structure for growing minds. π±
